The local body responsible for the Three Rivers Glass Factory marker-dedication event and much of the surviving photographic and documentary record from 1971–1973. Chaired by Mrs. William Hinnant, with Thelma Pugh Lindholm serving as the committee’s historian.
Was “in charge of placing historical markers furnished by the county and erected by the highway department in cooperation with Texas State Historical Survey Committee” (later the Texas Historical Commission), per the committee’s own 1973 dedication program [ev-0041]. The Three Rivers Glass Factory marker was the seventeenth marker in Live Oak County [ev-0041]; the next was planned for Whitsett.
