Reference letter dated September 9, 1938 [ev-0041], signed by Ball Glass Corporation, describes him as “a sober, industrious, conscientious worker” with strong ability to “handle men.” The 1938 date places Ball still maintaining administrative presence in Three Rivers more than a year after the foreclosure.
