Mrs. William Hinnant, chairman of the Live Oak County Historical Survey Committee who led the 1973 marker project
Chairman of the Live Oak County Historical Survey Committee; led the 1973 effort to erect the Texas Historical Marker for the Three Rivers Glass Factory site and chaired the dedication ceremony itself — the civic leader who organized the event that produced most of this collection’s photographic record and prompted Tips’ own detailed letters.
Announced the marker plans to the press in March 1973 [ev-0041]. Chaired the dedication-day program [ev-0041], standing alongside Thelma Lindholm at the ceremony. Her own first name is not given in sources gathered so far; formal newspaper coverage styles her “Mrs. William Hinnant,” while photo captions use the informal “Mrs. Willie Hinnant” — the same person.
