Borglum (1867–1941), internationally recognized sculptor best known for Mount Rushmore; born in Idaho Territory; studied under William Keith and at the Académie Julian, Paris; Stone Mountain project, then Mount Rushmore; San Antonio studio and various Texas monument projects.
