1931 Three Rivers Glass Factory Promotional Calendar
artifact active p2
A promotional calendar distributed by Three Rivers Glass Company in 1932 (covering February 1931-January 1932), owned by Mrs. Pearl Stewart, is the source of nearly all surviving factory-interior photographs used in both the 1973 marker-dedication report and Michael David Smith's 1989 book.

Why Track This
A single surviving piece of company ephemera responsible for essentially all of this collection’s interior factory photography (furnace, molding machines, compressors, lehr, testing lab).
Current State
Eleven photographs from this calendar were reproduced by Stanley Stewart for the 1973 historical marker report, verified by several former factory employees as authentic. Michael David Smith’s 1989 book states its own photographs are “from a promotional calendar distributed by the Three Rivers Glass Company in 1932,” almost certainly the same object.
